|District Calendar Update |
The recent weather patterns, along with predictions of multiple snow storms, have caused the District to move Friday, December 18 to an instructional day for all elementary students. December 18 was originally built into the calendar as a snow makeup day. We have used three of the eight elementary level snow days built into our calendar. This adjustment has become necessary in order to remain in compliance with State statutes and to reduce the chance of extending the school year into June. Please send your elementary students to school as usual on Friday, December 18. We appreciate your understanding.
Welcome to the Lewis-Palmer School District #38 Preschool and Early Childhood Programs where fun, warmth, security, exploration and discovery are key components to the growth and development of your child. Our parents are recognized as active and equal partners in making decisions and choices for a variety of services. The Lewis Palmer Preschools and Early Childhood Programs realize that this is a unique and individual opportunity for each child to develop their social, emotional, language, cognitive, fine and gross motor skills in a developmentally appropriate environment.
